About Me

Hey there, I’m Max…

I’m the person behind Smarter Shortcuts, and I’m on a mission to help you do more with less effort. Because let’s be honest—life’s complicated enough without making everything harder than it needs to be.

Why This Site Exists

I created Smarter Shortcuts after realizing something kind of depressing: most of us spend our lives doing things the hard way for absolutely no good reason.

We follow outdated advice. We overcomplicate simple tasks. We waste hours on processes that could take minutes. And worst of all, we feel guilty when we look for more efficient ways to do things—as if struggling somehow makes the outcome more valuable.

Spoiler alert: it doesn’t.

What You’ll Find Here

This site is your one-stop shop for smarter approaches to everyday challenges across three areas that actually matter:

Health: Because what’s the point of being efficient if you’re too exhausted or sick to enjoy it?

Wealth: Because financial freedom isn’t about obsessing over every penny—it’s about focusing on what actually moves the needle.

Relationships: Because connections with other humans are what make life worth living, and drama is just inefficient emotion.

I’m not here to give you the same tired advice you’ve heard a million times. I’m not going to tell you that the secret to success is waking up at 4 AM or meticulously tracking every calorie, dollar, and minute of your day (unless you’re into that sort of thing, in which case… who hurt you?).

Instead, I’m here to share shortcuts that actually work—the 20% of effort that gets you 80% of the results.

My Approach

My content is:

BS-Free: If I wouldn’t use it myself, I don’t recommend it.

Science-Backed: But explained without making your eyes glaze over.

Actually Practical: Because theory without application is just mental clutter.

Overly Sarcastic: Because if we can’t laugh at how unnecessarily complicated we’ve made our lives, what’s the point?

A Little About Me

When I’m not hunting for life’s cheat codes, I’m probably binging on YouTube.

I believe that working smarter isn’t lazy—it’s the ultimate form of respect for your limited time on this planet.

Life’s too short for the long way around.
